Ross Wigham visits Hadrian’s Wall for the first time in his life (though he must have crossed the line of it before since the World Heritage Site crosses the North of England from coast to coast). He is surprised to be questioned about his family history, discovers ancestors who didn’t just live like lords – and includes some lovely pictures of the Wall too.
