Practice as research: week 28

I have to admit that I don’t always understand what Louise is studying in her PhD on Artist Book as Ritual Object but following her week by week diaries is fascinating.

Her focus on Relational Aesthetics reminded me of a wonderful Félix González-Torres exhibition at the Serpentine where we got to eat sweets as exhibits. (If I’ve understood Relational Aesthetics correctly!)

    That’s exactly right – González-Torres is one of the artists mentioned in Bourriard’s Relational Aesthetics book
